    13 Km From Ravangla Are The Two Monasteries At Ralang Which Follow The Kagyupa Sect Of Buddhism. The Old Monastery Was Built In 1768 Ad And Legend Has It That The 9th Karmapa, Head Of The Kagyupa Sect, Blessed The Site Of The Monastery With Grains Of Rice Thrown From Tibet. 'pang Lhabsol' The Worship Of Mt. Khangchendzonga & 'kagyed' Chaam (masked Dances) Is Held In The Monastery Every Year.

    Borong Is A Popular Village Situated Near Ravangla, Facing The Snow-capped Mountains. This Village Is Reached Through The Maenam Trek And Is Most Popularly Known For Its Hot Springs Of 'borong Tsachu'. The Trek Route Along This Region Starts From Namchi Or Damthang And Ends At Tendong. This Trek Is Further Carried Till Tashidang, Or Is Terminated At This Very Point. The Hot Springs Of Borong Facilitate Traditional Winter Spas In The Area. These Springs Being Sulphurous, Are Said To Contain Medicinal Properties That Are Capable Of Curing Many Skin Problems And Other Ailments Associated With Joints, Bones And Muscles.

    The Buddha Park Of Ravangla Is Situated Near Rabong. It Is Home To A Buddhist Circuit And A Statue Of Lord Buddha. The Statue Of Lord Buddha Was Established There, In The Year Of 2006, On The Occasion Of The 2550th Birth Anniversary Of Gautama Buddha. This Statue Was Built And Installed In The Place Through The Joint Efforts Of The Sikkim Government And Its People. The Buddhist Circuit Of This Park Was Built Here Under The Project, For Boosting Pilgrimage And Tourism In The Place.

    Located 7 Kilometer Away From Namchi, South Sikkim. Where 135 Feet Tall Statue Of Guru Padmasambhava Or "guru Rimpoche In Bhutia" Has Been Installed. In Bhutia Vocabulary, Samdruptse Means Wish Fulfilling Hill. The Hilltop Offers A View Of Namchi Town, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Mt. Kanchandzonga And Eastern Part Of Nepal. The Statue Of Guru Padmasambhava Is The Double The Size Of The Famous Bronze Buddha Statue At Kamakura, Japan. On 21 Oct 2007, His Holiness The Dalai Lama Visited Sandruptse Hill To Lay The Foundation Stone Of The Project, His Holiness Then Offered Prayers To Guru Rimpoche And Offered Prayers For The Prosperity Of The State. Architects, Engineers And Hundreds Of Labors Took Three Years To Perfect This Statue. The Statue At Sandurptse Was Designed According To Traditional Buddhist Ideals And Moulded As Per The Measurement And Other Details As Explained In Thekcha Created By The Famous Vajrayana Teacher Je Mephan Rimpoche.

    A Miniature Replica Of The Indian Char Dhams Located In Our Country I.e. Jagannath Dham In East, Dwarika Dham In West, Badrinath Dham In North And Rameshwaram In South. It Also Has A 108 Ft. Statue Of Lord Shiva Enclosed By The 12 'lingas', A Temple Of Shirdi Sai Baba And An Effigy Of Lord Kirateshwara. It Gives A Feeling Of Complete Mental Peace & Satisfaction.
