Zurich Railway Station is the largest and the busiest station in Switzerland and is an important railway hub in Europe. Local trains operate between Zurich and other major cities of Europe.
This is Europe's largest waterfall which was forced into a new riverbed over 15,000 years ago. Over a breadth of 150 meters, several hundred cubic meters of water rush into the depths at the rate of 23 meters per second. By ship one can reach the Rhine Falls Basin and even the mighty rock in the midst of the waterfall.

The Platzspitz park is a park in Zurich, located next to the Swiss National Museum. The Park is one of the oldest and most historic areas of greenery in Zurich. On one side of this triangular park is the Swiss National Museum, right next to the Main Railway Station.
The region between Lake Walen and Sarganser Land in Eastern Switzerland gets its name from Johanna Spyriâs world famous Heidi story. The Freitag brothers produce over 1,20,000 bags and accessories every year from recycled materials taken from the streets. Used and exhaust stained truck tarpaulins, the inner tubes of bicycle tires, old safety belts and air-bags etc. are recycled to manufacture bags.
The Bahnhofstrasse leads from the main railway station to the lake and is mostly a pedestrian area almost without traffic. Its famous for its luxury stores, jewelleries, watches and designer boutiques.
