Borobudur Temple

Borobudur temple is a ninth century Buddhist temple which is just 1 hour drive from the Yogyakarta city. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and is about 60 to 90 minutes north of Yogyakarta by road. Explore the beautiful waterfalls and rice terraces of Selo Griyo in the surrounding mountains. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. The base, body, and superstructure of Borobudur Temple perfectly accords with the conception of the Universe in Buddhist cosmology.

Prambanan Temple

This is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. Prambanan Temple Compound consists of Prambanan Temple, Sewu Temple, Bubrah Temple and Lumbung Temple. These compounds are located on the border between the two provinces of Yogyakarta and Central Java on Java Island. Dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities, this temple with its decorated reliefs is an outstanding example of Siva art in Indonesia and the region.

Sewu Temple

Sewu Temple is located 2 km north of Prambanan Temple and is an 8th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple. It covers a large area. There are a total of 257 buildings in the complex, arranged in rows surrounding the main temple. Being one of the most majestic temples in Southeast Asia, Sewu temple attracts many visitors from across the world.
