After breakfast, check out from Auckland and transfer to Rotorua. Enroute enjoy the fascinating Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. This experience is climaxed by drifting silently in a boat on the underground river under the milky way of millions of glow worms on the cavern roof above you. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. After breakfast, proceed for a half day city tour of Rotorua. Visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve where you will see many boiling mud pools, hot springs and geysers. Then visit Maori Arts and Crafts Institute to see young people learning the traditional methods of flax weaving and woodcarving from their tribal elders. Then proceed for Rainbow Springs Nature Reserve to see the fresh water springs which are home to hundreds of Kiwi bird and many other wildlife species. Then onto the highly entertaining Farm Show which gives an animated insight into New Zealand's farming history. During the show see a sheep being shorn, cow being milked and have a chance to feed and touch the animals roaring. Evening is free on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Rotorua.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Rotorua Airport for your flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival at Christchurch, transfer to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free of your own. Overnight at your hotel in Christchurch.

After breakfast, proceed for Hot Air Ballooning at Canterbury plains. To capture the beauty of the Canterbury Plains and the Southern Alps, hot air balloon is the best way. Watch the environment from the air, including panoramic views of the patchwork quilt-like Canterbury Plains and farmland, the powerful Rakaia river and the rugged snow-capped Southern Alps during a peaceful one-hour trip in a balloon. Later, proceed for Mona vale Garden tour. The beautiful Mona Vale garden is five and a half hectares of gardens and landscaped lawns, gently rolling down to the Avon river. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Christchurch. It has beautifully manicured lawns and exquisite flower beds. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Christchurch.
