Rail

Train station is located near the main town of Tullamore and there are regular connections with Galway, Westport and Dublin.

Road

Tullamore is well accessible by car from Dublin and Galway. It takes around 70 mins to reach Dublin and around 80 mins to reach Galway from Tullamore.

Charleville Castle

Charleville Castle is said to be the finest example of gothic-revival architecture in the country. Its the finest Neo-Gothic, British-style 19th-century castle in Ireland, its Flag Tower and turrets rise above its domain of 30 acres of woodland walks and gardens. The castle stands in this beautiful parkland which contains the King Oak, one of the biggest and oldest oak trees in the country.

Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre

The Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre is housed in a 1897 Bonded Warehouse. This distillery was built in 1829, located in the Midlands of Ireland, an area ideal for distilling, due to its abundance of water, turf for fuel and excellent barley growing conditions. The tour revolves over three floors as visitors move up the stairs through the mashing kettle and washback to explore the distilling process from ingredient selection to mashing, fermenting, distilling, maturing and blending.
