The Running of the Bulls is a practice that involves running in front of a small group of cattle, typically six, of the toro bravo breed that have been let loose on a course of a sectioned-off subset of a town's street. Spanish tradition says the true origin of the run began in north-eastern Spain during the early 14th century. This is usually held in the month of July.
This Cathedral is the cityâs most emblematic monument and the one which houses the greatest number of historical and artistic treasures. Its Neoclassical façade conceals a sober, Gothic interior, based on the French Cathedral of Bayonne. The cloister is its most prized feature.
In Pamplona there are enough stores, shops and boutiques. European and international retail chains of all price ranges are there. The Old Quarter is the most picturesque shopping area, where one-of-a-kind shops and boutiques rub shoulders with the typical tourist shops, where you will find plenty of Running of the Bulls paraphrenalia. There are stands selling traditional products set up throughout the center as well as a few specialty shops.
