The airport nearest to Lausanne is Genevaâs Cointrin International Airport. The airport is well connected, with international, domestic and chartered flights which is about 55 km from Lausanne, and there are convenient transfers by bus and taxi.

One of the most beautiful Gothic structures in Europe, Lausanne Cathedral stands 150m above Lake Geneva. The doors and facade of the Cathedral are luxuriously ornamented with sculptures and bas-reliefs. It has two towers and you can climb the 225 steps to the observation deck of one of the towers.
