Rail

Trains are available from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen. From there, you can take a bus to Stechelberg. From Stechelberg, Murren can be reached by cable car.

Schilthorn

Schiltorn is Murren's local peak. You can enjoy panoramic views of Switzerland with over 200 mountain peaks and endless glaciers and lakes in Schilthorn. Piz Gloria, the revolving mountaintop restaurant is the main attraction from where the view extends from Mount Titlis to Mont Blanc and far across the Black Forest.

Allmendhubel

Allmendhubel can be reached by funicular railway from Murren in few minutes. A vast alpine panorama awaits the visitor at just at 2000 m above sea level. In winter, skiers of all ages will enjoy the sledding trail, the practice lift, and the gateway to the ski slopes. In summer, the flower trail, the play area and the Kneipp path attracts the visitors.

Overview

High end shopping malls are not available in Murren. But few souvenir shops, jewel’s shops, sports shops and the traditional woollen garment’s shops are available.
