Rhine Falls

This is Europe's largest waterfall which was forced into a new riverbed over 15,000 years ago. Over a breadth of 150 meters, several hundred cubic meters of water rush into the depths at the rate of 23 meters per second. By ship one can reach the Rhine Falls Basin and even the mighty rock in the midst of the waterfall.

Lake Zurich

Lake Zurich is framed on the southern side by the Albis and Zimmerberg hills and on the north by the Pfannenstiel chain of hills. The lake is bordered by the cantons of Zurich, St. Gallen and Schwyz. The waters of the Lake of Zurich flow out of the lake at its north-west end, passing through the city.

The pralines and truffles made from delicate Swiss chocolate and the light and airy Luxemburgerli send people all over the world into raptures. The Platzspitz park is a park in Zurich, located next to the Swiss National Museum. The Park is one of the oldest and most historic areas of greenery in Zurich. On one side of this triangular park is the Swiss National Museum, right next to the Main Railway Station.
