Air

Regular flights are available from Kolkata to Singapore. The flying time is around 4 hours. Singapore Airlines and Druk Air have direct flights to Singapore. Singapore can also be reached via Bangkok on Thai Airways, via Hongkong on Dragon Air and via Kuala Lumpur on Air Asia.

Orientation Tour of Singapore

Singapore city tour consists of a visit to the vibrant China town, Little India, colonial landmarks and iconic Merlion. The tour begins with a drive around the Cricket Club, Parliament house and Supreme Court. Then you reach the Merlion Park where you can stop and have pictures in front of the mythological figure which is partly lion and partly fish. Jurong Bird Park

This Bird park is home to the colours of the world as Asia’s largest bird park. With a collection of more than 5,000 birds across 400 species, Jurong Bird Park is located at the west end of Singapore. It gives the visitors an opportunity to meet and interact with the feathered residents of the park. You can enjoy the High Flyer’s Show and Kings of the Sky’s Show. Chat with the Amazon parrot who shows off his human emotions by laughing, crying and singing a song. You will also get a chance to feed the birds yourself.

Singapore Zoo

This zoo follows the modern trend of displaying animals in naturalistic, open exhibits with hidden barriers and glass between the animals and visitors. Activities like breakfast with orang-utan, holding tiger cubs, holding python etc. (all chargeable) let the visitors to meet and interact closely with the members of the zoo. The 28 hectares zoo has a lot to offer.

Night Safari

The night safari is the world’s first nocturnal zoo and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. Your eyes will take a while to adjust to the darkness here, but once they do, you will be greeted by over 2,500 resident animals from over 130 species. Animals are separated from visitors with natural barriers, rather than cages. Cultural performances are a regular feature which includes tribal dances, blowpipe demonstrations and fire eating displays.

Singapore Flyer

It’s a giant observation wheel with an overall height of 165 metres. The wheel consists of 28 air-conditioned capsules and each capsule is capable of holding 28 passengers. A complete trip lasts for approximately 32 minutes. You can also plan for a dinner on board. Experience the breath-taking panoramic view on board the Flyer.

Duck Tours

The Duck tour is a unique city and harbour tour that is an amphibious ride on both land and sea. The Singapore Duck tours will take you around the city to show colonial civic district. A drive through the woods followed by entering the water. While driving through the waters, one can enjoy the fresh breeze and view the breath-taking sights of Merlion Park.

Universal Studios

It’s a theme park located in Sentosa Island. The park consists of seven themed zones which surrounds a lagoon. It features the world’s tallest pair of duelling roller coasters that are based on the popular television series- Battlestar Galactica. A huge variety of restaurants are also available here.

Adventure Cove Waterpark

This is Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster which promises endless splashes of fun. You can zoom down thrilling waterslides; grab a tube and journey down the Adventure river. There’s a lot to enjoy with non-stop activities for aquatic thrill-seekers.

S.E.A Aquarium

A visit to the S.E.A aquarium will take you to the magical marine world seen through our planet’s largest window to the ocean. It is located in Resorts World Sentosa within Sentosa Island. Trick Eye Museum

The museum is painted in an art technique that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. Visitors are welcomed to explore the various themed galleries with their eyes, hands and even cameras. You will be creating unforgettable memories here.

Sands Sky Park

This park offers 360 degree views of Singapore Skyline. The 2.5 acre sky park is a waterfront which spans the roofs of three hotel towers on 57th floor. It has got a public waterfront promenade, a public roof top promenade and a 1,000 m long landscaped bridge.

River Safari

River Safari is a river themed zoo which is built over 12 hectares. You can enjoy freshwater attractions and river boat rides. The park boats a tropical rainforest setting along with a river theme, various animal attractions, theme park rides and other major exhibits. It showcases 10 different ecosystems around the world, including the rivers Nile, Amazon, Mississippi etc.

Bintan Island

Bintan Island is located in Indonesia but its nearest city is Singapore. The island has beaches with beach-front international hotels and resorts. Ferries are available from Singapore to reach Bintan. Shimmering azure seas stretching as far as the eye can see, palm fringed white sandy beaches that gently caress your feet and the jungles teeming with life, attracts tourists to this place. As Bintan island is in Indonesia, for Indian nationals the visa can be done on arrival at a nominal charge.
