Morning after breakfast, proceed for an 8 hours tour of Madrid. We'll start with a mid-day visit to the Royal Palace and then we'll go on a fully-guided panoramic tour of Madrid where you can learn about the origins of Spain's fascinating capital city through its architecture before visiting the Bernabeu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. Built on the site of the former Palace of the Hapsburgs, the Royal Palace was the official residence of the Spanish monarchy from 1765 to 1931. Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer to train station for train to Alicante departing at 0930am. This is the earliest daily train to Alicante from Madrid. Arrive Alicante at 1142hrs. Proceed for a 4.5 hours city tour of Alicante at 12:15hrs including a break for lunch for an hour (lunch on your own). See the facade of the Archaeological Museum, MARQ, that is one of the most advanced in our country, The Town Hall, The Carbonell Building, The Central Market, placa de Bous, The San Nicolas Co-Cathedral, The Santa Maria Basilica and lastly to the 'Paseo de la Explanada', this is a maritime promenade that runs parallel to the port, from the Puerta del Mar to Canalejas Park. Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day tour to Tabarca Island. From Alicante port, take a one-hour boat ride to the nearby Tabarca Island for an interesting daytrip. It is a popular spot for Snorkeling and swimming because of its clear waters. It is the only inhabited island in the Valencia region and is just 1,800 metres long by 400 metres at its widest point. The crystal-clear water around the island has been declared a Mediterranean Marine Reserve and is protected, although water sports are still allowed. There is an abundance of flora and fauna to see, which is why divers and snorkellers find it such an attractive place to visit. They may also spot sea urchins, Starfish, shellfish and sponges. There are many coves and beaches to explore with a lovely fishing port lined with restaurants offering a picturesque setting for a meal.
