World Steepest Funicular Railway Stoosbahn

The Stoosbahn is a funicular railway in the Swiss canton of Schwyz. It connects the HintereSchlattli in the municipalities of Muotatal, Morschach, and Schwyz with the village and mountain resort of Stoos, above Morschach. On a length of 1.7 kilometres, it overcomes a height difference of 744 metres.The Stoos railways connect to the car-free mountain village Stoos - while setting a world record. The funicular railway from Schwyz to Stoos is the steepest in the world. A technical wonder, which makes the trip a one-of-a-kind experience.
