To create lodge infrastructure, an ancestral home is preserved in its pristine form, with a lounge and bar on the ground floor while owner family continues to live upstairs. Another building with a Dining, Kitchen, conference rooms, and the four cottages has been built in close semblance to traditional styles. Each Cottage comprises of two suites which is self-contained for a couple or family, with an option of twin or king-sized beds. Along with its large dressing and bathroom space, the bedroom leads onto a large wrap-around balcony with a view of its organic farm, surrounding villages and magnificent Wangduephodrang Dzong.

The Lodge grows and produces its own herbs, vegetables, free-range eggs, milk, cheese, butter & local rice for authentic Bhutanese cuisines and signature dishes. It also serves home baked bread, ground coffee & freshly plucked mint tea. Wangdue Eco Lodge is pioneering eco-tourism in Bhutan. Established in March 2015 at an altitude of 1459M in Dhamina village, it overlooks the beautiful Ngashigaykha village, a confluence and the majestic Wangduephodrang Dzong. On a clear morning, one can see the perennially snowcapped Gangchen Tag (6784M) behind the Dzong.
