Mt. Kanchenjunga form Tiger Hill

Visiting Tiger Hill is a must if you are traveling to Darjeeling. The sunrise on Mt. Kanchenjunga is an absolutely overwhelming experience. Wait there at the Tiger Hill until everyone departs and enjoy a cup of tea with local snacks sold by the local people. Then take a small walk down to the Durga Temple nearby. On the way keep your DSLR busy to take photographs of the third largest mountain of the world from different viewpoints.

Tiger Hill is approximately 11km from Darjeeling town and accessible by road.
